Dachsmania began life as a black-and-white, 12-page magazine in the late 1990s. It was printed and posted out to about 60 subscribers in Australia four times each year, who were charged only for the postage and printing costs. As submissions were used from dachshund lovers around the world, people outside Australia requested subscriptions. Charging them was impractical, due to the costs of exchanging currencies, especially for such a small amount per subscription, so I put magazine up on line as a .pdf file.

When I left Australia to live in Wales in 2007, I wound up the printed version, and began to compile the one now available below.

Like its predecessor, Dachsmania Online is a labour of love, not intended as a source of profit, so no charge is made for this version. I hope you enjoy it.
